I saw these with my daughter; yet another modernization attempt on the time-proven story of Peter Parker, with a strong focus on school life. Both the animation quality and story start pretty strong actually, but they introduce all the "alternative" Spidey characters too soon and they didn't know what to do with them. The structure of the series suffers from that. They didn't get much traction I assume, so they wrapped it up neatly after 2 seasons with a Dr. Ock story. Beats watching Frozen.

It does an okay job bringing the Tom Holland style Spider-man to the animated format. It's better than the previous Ultimate Spider-man show, but still nothing special. Perhaps I'm just spoiled by Spectacular Spider-man which was really well done.
