Although slow to start and featuring an insufferably "nice" main character this develops into an OK drama with poison and betrayal lurking just below the genteel surface. Give it time.

Two episodes in, this series seems well acted, gorgeous costumes, and timely... Various church men have to come to terms with the fact that the churchmen of the town have gotten rich while many suffer from poverty. And Rickman too!
