The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes

The mysteries weren't as good over all and the longer episodes were pretty crappy but there was still a lot to like here.

Not quite as cohesive as previous seasons and often a little drawn out. I readily admire the increasing boldness in the series where - with the utmost appropriateness - often abstract technique, bordering on experimental, is used to exacerbate the palpable atmosphere. Cinematography is great. Quite refreshing for both the material and the medium.
