Very entertaining and similar to the Chernobyl mini-series. The only downside is the English dubbing. It's a little clunky in places, which takes away from the experience. Besides this, it's very well done. Great GFX.

Nuclear technology is the clearest demonstration of the capacity for scientific and engineering dreams to bring into existence new realities, and new nightmares. This series avoids the fact that this disaster had been anticipated, but it does show that the government faced the prospect of needing to evacuate to a radius of 250km (50 million people, including all of Tokyo), and that this vast portion of Japan’s landmass would in the event of a full meltdown have become uninhabitable for decades.

Fukushima'da 2011 yılında yaşanan nükleer santral felaketini merkezine alan The Days, internetten okuduğum kadarıyla Chernobyl ile sürekli kıyaslanmış ama bu iki yapıma da haksızlık. Chernobyl bir başyapıttı, The Days ise oldukça iyi bir yapım. Oyunculukları zayıf, anlatımı ise ağır olsa da parmak bastığı konu ve atmosferi sonuna kadar yaşatması benim için olumlu noktalardı.
