If this were a 30-minute short and not so stylized it would've been much better. But it had so much fluff to make it feature length that it lost my interest. Didn't care for the stylized recreations or cheesy nickname solo shots of the characters. And it's a story that's interesting going in but leaves you liking the main guy far less at the end. He's all ego, and the ending where he abandons his friends and cheats on his girlfriend is deflating. Cool photo of the walk, bad story.

It's an emotionally draining watch. You know exactly what's going to happen and can't look away. I appreciate that they didn't use any big celebs in this. Made it much more believable. It's very well made, and I never want to watch it again.

Very interesting but narratively disjointed. It feels like 2 documentaries in one. While loosely related, the stories should have been 2 separate movies. Combining them felt confusing. I kept waiting for the stories to converge and they never did. So you're left wondering what the point of the American story is when it's a much thinner section. The Mexican side of the doc is a much more fascinating watch.

Good but uneven. Lots of plot armor and really convenient timing throughout. Premise is very interesting, but movie only partially pays off. Too many cliche moments. Two leads are a little too romcom pretty to be believable. But a fun movie if you can not think too hard.
