An interesting demonstration of how the same script, with good actors, and a competent director, can nevertheless yield vastly inferior results. Abandoned after the first episode.

It's not fair to see two similar interpretations one after the other. But I did. This version succeeds as a movie better than the older, but the older actors were unbeatable. Extra points for real winter shooting.
