Honestly, it's easy to see the appeal, watching it now: I've seen a lot of crap TV, this era included, and this is some of the goddamn horniest PG viewing ever made. Everyone in it just wanna be fuckin round the clock, primo '70s T&A and beefcakes rubbin their thighs together in tight slacks n just-loose sundresses, raw mandingo promise peeking round the peripherals with a tough stache and easy laugh, tellin the fellas without tellin em you best make her right or I will, grannies included

This show lasted ten years. 10 fucking years.

One Christmas I got a 3 and 3/4 inch action figure of the captain, had a removable cap so you could see his baldy heed. When playing with him and other figures, from THE BLACK HOLE and STAR WARS, he had an awfully hard time, so much so I often felt sorry for him. Still a shit programme though.
