Four episodes of utter boredom have been endured, fueled only by the initially promising start which ultimately failed to deliver any improvement, leaving me profoundly disappointed. I'm done giving it more chances.

A stellar cast, some good performances, a few interesting ideas, and way too many characters emoting to slow, piano pieces. The show is good half the time, and tedious the other half.

Poor use of the concept most of the time. The larger story is bland as hell. Chiwetel and more personal events around the families life lifts it up a bit.

Unfortunately, I haven't read the novel but I want to buy the book as soon as possible. The concept of The Man Who Fell to Earth is a little different compared to other TV series and it looks interesting. It's always a pleasure to watch Chiwetel Ejiofor in the lead role. I see that his acting performance is constantly improving and that pleases me. The cinematography is great and I highly recommend it. My rating may up or down later....
