Wapner was no television personality, which may be why this courtroom series is far more tolerable than his modern day counterparts. They ham it up to be stars, he judges people based on the info brought to him.

An decent enough concept that spawned dozens of imitators. While it could be entertaining in very small doses, Wapner did not have the personality and the cases did not have the diversity to make this a great show.
