A modified for TV-edit of The Phantom Creeps (1939) serial coming 10 years after the cinema series was presented to the audience. While the 1949 chopped down 78 minute version still displays the charms and craziness of the 1939 serial, I almost always recommend watching the full thing when it comes to these types of releases.
