Great premise and interesting subject but the inconsistent timeline and episode structure unfortunately drags it down from top-tier for me.

Because it unexpectedly steers away from standard biopic fare, this series became interesting enough to learn more about Spotify and it did a good job portraying all sides of the story making for a very fun, if not sometimes rage inducing, watch. It becomes clear Daniel Ek and his initial companions have one big ideal, one big dream that is gradually coming true: to Not. Ever. pay artists for their music. Their life's work is not done before that's fully realized.

I got bored half way through. The Rashomon style story telling is interesting but doing every scene in the same corridor made it feel so cheap.. Interesting story but still.. Way too long..
