Continuing his starry-eyed interview methods from Comandante, Stone is in over his head with Putin who is using this as a disinformation exercise. Two highlights are Putin & Stone watching Dr. Strangelove (with Putin looking bored out of his mind), and Putin saying in relation to a potential US double bluff something to the effect of "there's no way they're that subtle" with the clear implication that he is. If Stone took anything at face value (and it looks like he did) he is a colossal idiot.

I hope Oliver Stone feels like a certifiable ass right about now.

He took leadership of a country in a bad state and improved every metric in the past 18 years, including paying off the national debt, raising GDP, domestic industry and agriculture, improving birthrates, and improving the life of the average Russian.
