The Putin Interviews

Continuing his starry-eyed interview methods from Comandante, Stone is in over his head with Putin who is using this as a disinformation exercise. Two highlights are Putin & Stone watching Dr. Strangelove (with Putin looking bored out of his mind), and Putin saying in relation to a potential US double bluff something to the effect of "there's no way they're that subtle" with the clear implication that he is. If Stone took anything at face value (and it looks like he did) he is a colossal idiot.

An outstanding, in-depth interview with one of the greatest world leaders, who is deliberately being lied about and mis-portrayed by western media. He took leadership of a country in a bad state and improved every metric in the past 18 years, including paying off the national debt, raising GDP, domestic industry and agriculture, improving birthrates, and improving the life of the average Russian. These interviews allow him to talk at length and are well edited. Read the book for cut material.

I hope Oliver Stone feels like a certifiable ass right about now.
