Steve Austin thwarts a kidnapping only to see the organization behind it kidnap a top US military adviser and demand a huge ransom in gold. He teams with a scientist who can transplant brain tissue from the recently deceased to reconstruct memories to find the kidnappers. The final TV movie before the series was launched, it's probably the best of the three, but is still too long to maintain interest.

More like a TV movie version of James Bond and still not the Bionic man that everyone knows. Decent but nothing great.
