It started off as an interesting concept that grabbed my attention, but it became less captivating as time went on, and I ended up skipping the last episode.

Fun and intriguing, the one hour episodes pass imperceptibly. The story is good, the characters are great and the twists are solid.

A delightfully demented middle ground between the often-far-too-dry Coen flicks and the often-far-too-edgy Tarantino movies. It boasts the most likeable leads in recent memory chewing the scenery of a beautifully-shot convoluted mystery/thriller/comedy. Even a seasoned moviegoer will be kept guessing by this series' trope subversions that never seem pretentious or self-aggrandizing. Each episode oozes charm and seems to channel some weird combination of Lost and the real-life Tamum Shud case.

It has so much potential, and so many interesting pieces, but it really needed another pass in the writing process. There's some stuff that is just utterly absurd, and not in a fun way. Beautiful shot and acted, could have been special, but ultimately left a lot to be desired.

I think The Tourist has a so much wasted potential. Especially first two episode was really great like a Coen-esque however shows pacing were slowly declining despite some strong intensely scenes. Jamie Dornan was a great during the series, charismatic and complex guy. Comparison to Fargo is inevitable but like I said before potential of The Tourist a little bit wasted.

The beginning was intriguing, almost felt like a Coen Bros. movie, but then the story unravelled and it went from good to bad real fast. The writing is poor, the last two (out of five) episodes are nonsense, characters are either throwaways or make no sense at all. I just wish we could have gotten more of what it was like at the start.
