the series were kind of good, but too much romance, and the story was kinda meh ngl

Angsty soap-opera, but with vampires and werewolves galore. I think the actors are pretty good in general but the content of the show it less than stellar.

First couple seasons (1-3) are interesting, well paced and interesting for watching. Sadly after that, with season 4, this series are starting to get really really annoying, predictable and even boring. I stopped watching in the middle of series 6, simply became too dull.

I loved so many aspects of this show in the early seasons. The characters, the setting, the storyline. But for me, the love triangle was its undoing. I have never seen a show make the main character more unlikable. It gets worse with every rewatch.

I give this score for the first 3 seasons. It was much more gripping and better than I expected. I wish I was smart and never started season 4.

It started really good and just went downhill from there.

Stopped watching mid season 5.

It has declined so, so much and is now barely watchable (and, like The Office before it, the main protagonist has now left the show). This is a shame because back in '09-12 or so I loved seeing people's confused expressions when I told them what they had pegged as a Twilight knockoff was a kick-ass, relentlessly-paced supernatural thriller that killed off its cast as ruthlessly as 24 or Game of Thrones. I can't tell them that anymore, though. Sigh... we'll always have seasons 1 and 2.
