occasionally excruciating, but i just wanted more JC after KE, and this delivers that much at least.

Using all the standard drama cliches this was a mess...an enjoyable mess, but frankly, ludicrous. There are too many cliches to mention, but the actors (who did a pretty good job) must have looked at this afterwards and thought "why did I invest so much effort into such a ridiculous, unlikely, and far-fetched script?". 30 police officers in a shopping centre and the perp finds his way to a photobooth with a drugged child? umm! .. but it was the inconsistency of the characters that really grated.

It's okay. I guess I was hoping for more of a psychological exploration of the consequences of being held captive for so long ... There's certainly some of it in there, but this was mostly a pretty typical crime-investigation-TV-show
