Lots of good things here. Well acted, some genuinely funny bits. Good sense of melancholy, pressure, depression, and NHS crap. But my God, the writing. Everything is sketched in the clunkiest way imaginable. There is no subtlety. There is nothing but big chunky Sharpie storytelling.

More acidic than the book, but it kind of needs to be. Top work all round from the cast, in particular Ambika Mod. I'm a fan of the book and this does it justice.

Where is the rebellion ?

The acrid and bitter flip-side to SCRUBS (or maybe HOUSE?); suffers from plot strands and threads that seem designed to pay off in presumed future seasons, but there are a lot of genuinely funny turns-of-phrase in the screenplay, enacted by a first-rate cast, highlighted by Whishaw dogged lead, and Jennings in support. Mixes some quite sombre and hard-hitting social commentary with its apparent flippant sensibilities; if it’s ultimately a little repetitive, it remains consistently engaging.

One of better medical dramas I've seen lately and about obs/gyn if you can believe it. Also nice middle finger to the british public healthcare system, NHS.

Funny but full of drama. Thought-provoking and moving.

Painfully accurate and powerfully moving portrait of the NHS seen through the eyes of a junior doctor. The sarcasm-soaked 'morgue humor' in obstetrics is fantastic!
