Scott, a history professor, becomes involved with two time travelers from the year 2586 after making a discovery in an old photograph. One of the time travelers is determined to change the course of history, the other to stop him. Scott's fascination with the Old West comes in handy when they all return to 1886. (imdb)

Though he invariably looked sickly and tubercular, Polish/German actor Klaus Kinski rose to fame in roles calling for near-manic aggressiveness. His war career consisted primarily of a year and a half in a British POW camp. After this experience, Kinski took to the theater, where he rapidly built a reputation for on-stage brilliance and off-stage emotional instability. International stardom came Kinski's way via his off-the-beam appearances in the films of director Werner Herzog. With 1989's Paganini, he proved to be as colorful and chaotic a director as he was an actor. He was the father of actress Nastassja Kinski; died in 1991.

Another strong candidate for Worst Science Fiction Film Ever Made. Very silly and very cheesy, and neither in a good way. I don't believe Tracey "John Wayne was a fag" Walter as an Old West gunslinger for a minute, but he's not as bad as Klaus Kinski... who, per his usual custom, was wasting his talent on a budget piece of crap. On top of all that, I *hate* the look and feel of '80s teleproductions... and this one has the usual awful musical score
