To Walk Invisible

A sobering, insightful watch with good performances, I enjoyed this and felt more educated about the families issues and situation at the end. Quite an atmospheric, well made period drama. Recommended.

Tepid telling of what should have been fascinating material squanders a lot of time on "black sheep" brother (and clear lost cause) Nagaitis - his spiral into addiction and ruin may have been more interesting if it had been the focus, but because this is a story of his sisters, what we ultimately get is 2 hours of anecdotes about a wayward relative, rather than really getting to the heart of the sisters' literary impact. Pryce is excellent as usual as the doddery patriarch.
