Lots of people are interviewed who knew or met Trump at some point in his life, but not the most important ones. It feels like they got the people who were willing to talk. It's like watching a doc about someone who died 3 decades ago and the film-makers need to hunt down the people who still remember him. The picture that we get of Trump is really incomplete, and no analysis is given about the missing pieces. I expect that we will have better documentaries about Trump sooner or later.

A candid documentary that takes an in-depth look at Trump's career and how he evolved as a person. The accounts people give of him are fascinating and provides an intrinsic look at how Trump reacted to his successes and failures. In a way, it made me a bit sympathetic of him - while Trump today is known for his laughable ego, here we get a sense of how fame and fortune had gotten to his head leading to a decline of his personal qualities that both Ivana and his friends had seen in him.
