The first female US President Sally Sheridan is shot dead by a sniper during her Veterans Day speech. Her assassin narrowly escapes the scene with his life, national security hot on his heels - or so it seems. Three months later, an elderly couple discover the body of a wounded man in a tree, wearing a parachute. The young man (Dorff) cannot remember the slightest thing about his own identity. The only clue is a tattoo on his neck, "XIII". (imdb)

Cheaply-produced made-for-TV-quality conspiracy thriller. Way too long, and the stunts are pretty bad. The music, along with much of the rest of the film, is stolen from the Bourne Identity. You are better off re-watching a couple of episodes of 24.

Mediocre and uninteresting political thriller. It is remarkable that scriptwriters and filmmakers seem so enduringly attracted to such a hokey narrative device as "amnesia," yet they clearly must be.

Despite comparisons to Bourne Identity, this movies completely different. In Bourne, he's found at sea, and here, he's hanging in a tree. There, see, totally different movie. Based on that, I'd give this LXVIII stars.

Well made, reasonably well acted political thriller, although Dorff's "furrowed brow" became a bit tedious. Some casting issues, especially Lucinda Davies, who was well out her depth, but Greg Bryk and Caterina Murino were great! The main problem here is the story, which reveals itself to be completely formulaic, and predictable. The use of amnesia as a plot device is stale and the constant repetition/exposition by way of flashbacks treated the viewer like idiots. Worth watching, but only just.

Another conspiracy movie with old-needing-money-fat-ex-actor. Played fair enough, average plot, nice effects. Ordinary movie for one-time watching before you go to sleep.
