A mesmerising and poetic exploration of longing and desire through the premise of the meeting of a forlorn man whose girlfriend had recently left him and an anxious woman who had recently left her boyfriend. Though the premise sounds like utter trite, the film is anything but that. Often quietly poignant and subtly photographed, the film is much more of a poem than a narrative, with its characters quietly floating through various oneiric landscapes.
