Generally, it deserves 11 reviews. None of them would deserve a review, IMHO. But the very concept is interesting enaugh to make this movie a worth seeing. It could be a pluralism of opinions at best, if only I wasn't left over with this feeling, that I've seen 11 versions (including Israeli and American) , explaining why USA "brought that upon themselves" in some way. Could it be the real opinion of the world? I doubt.

One of the more successful anthologies made, more than likely because the shorts by all the intentional directors deal with the serious issue of September 9/11 in their various viewpoints. With the exception of the entry by Youssef Chakin, and a few flaws by a couple others, there is good quality to many of the shorts and with Claude LeLouch's a masterpiece, making it an applaudable effort for everyone involved.

Loach's film being the best and Penn's extremely powerful, this is still a mediocre selection...

The Makhmalbaf and Ouedraogo sequences are the redeeming features. Otherwise, it's mostly miss. The Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu piece is a disgrace.

It has really good shorts as well as the dull ones but. Overall it's good meditation. But like any of this kind of projects it lacks unity.

Samira Makhmalbaf segment was incredible, Ken Loach segment was striking, the rest resembled student works, especially Penn s segment. Barely watched it to the end.
