Although the film was corny at moments...it was great! I think that this is probably one of the best coming of age films, although not as good as Accepted, it's along those lines.

A harmless mildly enjoyable 80's look at a group of twentysomethings trying to figure out their lives. It's actually well directed but this film just does not have anything particularly insightful or substantial to say.

It's funny the first time you watch it but it's completely disposable. There are practically no memorable scenes to speak of, or at least any that I can remember. Did Teresa Palmer get naked? I can't remember so I suppose not.

Man, that Teresa Palmer girl is hot. Like a more conventionally pretty Kristen Stewart. Or whatever, she is the best thing about this film, in any case. Other than that it was pretty meh and a complete waste of Anna Faris.

Seen it all before but still an enjoyable and funny film. It's supposedly set in the 80's yet it's really not that important to the story and if you are just casually watching you probably wouldn't even notice or care. Don't understand how Dan Fogler keeps getting to do movies, just a terrible and unlikable actor. Gotta love Chris Pratt, hope he shows up in more stuff.

Can't believe how unpopular this film is. It is a very well-shot, well-written and well-cast throwback to 80s American coming-of-age movies. Consistently funny and engaging. Knows where the line is when it comes to cliches and only crosses it once or twice.

Paint by numbers romantic comedy. Except this time, get this, it takes pace 30 years ago. An original move for Topher Grace. Anna Faris was out of place, and Teresa Palmer got annoying by the end. There were some funny scenes though, so it is on the higher side of mediocre. It's crazy how predictable this movie was though. They took no chances, just stuck to the basic formula.

Had very low expectations, another throwback 80's movie. God, was I pleasantly surprised. This was such fun. Guess if you didn't grow up in the 80's it's less appealing. Haven't enjoyed such a movie in a long time. Gonna re watch it for sure. Much better than that fake hot tub crap.

Clearly no point for this to be set in the 1980's other than to throw some cocaine jokes and add a familiar fun soundtrack in. Still Grace has excellent comedic timing, and it's fun enough to give it a watch.

Just because a movie isn't literally the worst movie ever doesn't mean that it needed to get made. This film isn't particularly funny, and certainly doesn't use its period as anything other than window dressing. I don't think they could have picked a much more generic story to tell, or have told it in a less interesting way.

Where the writers of "Hot Tub Time Machine" succeeded in intergrating the 80s into their film, this movie failed. They just made it the 80s to dress them up in weird clothes, give the women wild hairdos, and to have an all 80s soundtrack to hopefully hide the completely by the numbers plot that takes no great risks in either telling the story or getting laughs. Pratt was a solid addition and could have done with more screentime.

The 80s wasn't so long ago, yet no one involved in the film seems to have any memory of it (with no mustaches or cigarettes to be seen). Nonetheless all of the cliche soundtrack choices are there, lending more to the myth that there were only about a dozen popular songs in the entire decade; encompassing the limits of the films effort to pay homage to a bygone era. The rest of the film is forgettable and painfully unfunny with the half-assed setting playing zero role in the film.
