Mini-Review: I own this one, though I don't know why. Something tells me it was a birthday present.
There exists a lot of crude humor, herein- but then what did you expect from Adam Sandler? Funny, if marginally so, but what gets me is that it's animated. This type of humor is not exactly what you'd expect from an animated feature- so I suppose it's innovative in that regard.
Storywise, it was a little...hokey, but not unbearable. I absolutely hated the voices they chose for Whitey and his sister (
Mini-Review: Phillip Seymour Hoffman is gross...in this movie, anyway. Successfully coining the term "Sharted", he wins more than a few laughs. The understated Ben Stiller is perfect if only because he's Ben Stiller and Jennifer Anniston is...well, she's alright.
Mini-Review: Good movie. Dark, sad, depressing and at times, surprisingly funny. Spacey gives a stellar performance- he totally deserved the Oscar.
Mini-Review: As I said, Paul Giamatti is my favorite.
Mini-Review: So stupid, it has to be funny. "Oh, Baxter...you are my little gentleman."
Mini-Review: Classic. But the passion sort of dies towards the end.
Mini-Review: Booooo. Not a clever followup. But I laughed a little here and there.
Mini-Review: Malkovich Malkovich?
...Malkovich
Mini-Review: The world's introduction to Parminder Nagra. Brilliant actress, wonderful movie.
