In the romcom genre, definitely belongs to the higher echelon. Better than average banter and good production values by an indie film. Has the few obligatory misunderstanding scenes but they are rather quickly resolved and don’t weigh down the vibe too much. This was also hot and tantalizing for all my suburban mom needs iykwim. If you don’t like this film, you just don’t like romcoms. Trust me. I’ve got about thousand Hallmarks and all the of the 90’s under my belt. This will be a rare rewatch.

This is a cozy hating love feelgood movie. The rivalry between our main characters leads to something good and lasting in the end.

I couldn't stomach even a portion of it, but it was a nice reminder that if it looks incredibly bad, it most certainly is.

It starts out nice enough, for a cliched romance story anyway, and the leads are committed to making it believable, particularly Stowell, but it still goes severely off the rails–and not in a good way–at the end.
