Sensational concept, but poorly executed. A great shame.

JEANNE DIELMAN by way of haneke and turn-of-the-century home video aesthetics. watched it right after BLACK BOOK and their goals are the same: to puncture the convenient narratives of The Good Guys like a needle through the nipple, both weaponising their actresses' tits no less. a revenge movie that turns its camera back on you and never lets you off the hook by revealing either party to be anything more or less than human, banal even.

A veritable kick in the head of a movie.
