Nice enough plot, but repeats itself too much, showing different versions of the same situation rather than exploring the issue in more depth.

This is rather long drawn out, although its only 1h45. The plots slow to build and I thought it was interesting seeing the strained relationship between Alice and her adoptive mother but it was too bland at times. Its a bit of a sobering watch, I suppose but it didn't really pull me in as a viewer overall - its not really bad as such, its just...ok-ish. I thought it became a bit more interesting towards the end but it still didn't feel quite substantial enough to maintain my concentration.
