Bel Canto

There's so many good concepts, great acting and intriguing tropes (Stockholm syndrome of the hostages being captured by sympathetic resistance fighters, language barriers between the hostages and captors, the question if the end truly justifies the means, etc.), but it's squandered by inept and childish script. The ending is so cringe and full of juvenile melodrama it's still aching my teeth.
