Damn fine acting from the entire cast. Nicely directed and as funny as it was, it was also damn slow and painful funniness. I would not sit down to rerun it.

Full of painfully funny observations on middle class unhappiness, but also quite poignant insight into the ephemeral nature of life and love, this is a quirky little gem. The whole cast is good, especially Langham. £25K well spent, Messrs Sharpe and Kingsley.
