Children's Party

Bookended by scenes of peaceful innocence, the rest of the film is a fascinating portrait of the way western society idolizes violence and danger and normalizes it by presenting it as inoffensive children's entertainment. This stands out doubly because it really doesn't seem to be the film's intention.

somehow i have stumbled across more joseph cornell movies. i find them repulsive.
