Well intentioned, but scattered and unconvincing portrait of a wartime siege gives us precious little insight into the personalities involved, or even a sense of the scope or intensity of the situation; too much of the film seems like a half-hearted retread of similar genre entries, and its clear limited budget gives the film a pinched and sketchy feel. It's the pre-war "homefront" scenes which are more convincing, but even then we are never given much insight into the two men at the forefront.

Having never seen a Turkish movie before, it's going to be awful hard to not let this one piece of crap taint my perception of the whole country's cinema. There's a key lesson here, if you can only afford a crappy camera and an abandoned house with two actors for your war movie, then you have no business making a war movie. This one sucks, watching it may cost you your sight.
