I do feel Georg Wilhelm Pabst could have done better with the presentation, but the message is evergreen. One of how cruel racism, especially anti-Semitic, is. This one coming right after World War II, and naturally it's targeting the people of the Third Reich. And nothing about this is subtle. It's ABC in Aryan privilege, false accusation, sponsored racism. So much that's still prevalent today. What this becomes is a simple education in racism in the form of a direct and provocative movie.
