Freak Show

Billy Bloom attends an ultra conservative high school where the kids are immediately labelled as his bully's because they don't understand him. Yet they were given bully like tendencies right from the opening scene because of Billy's voiceover identifying them as such. It has a powerful message in there somewhere, just the execution on screen through the script does not convey the most powerful one it could and that hurts what otherwise was a well acted film by all involved.

The script leaves a lot to be desired, but Alex Lawther saves the film and makes it worth watching. But to be fair, I don't think this film is intended for my demographic.
