Garden of the Moon

Busby Berkeley directed musical for Warner Bros, among the last he did for the studio before jumping to MGM. An heated band vs club owner battle in music, shouting and other loud noises. A bit too much at times, but at least it was lively. A little on the long side too considering what they had going with the plot, but it's a fun orchestral affair with John Payne doing a favorable job as the bandleader, Margaret Lindsay as the girl in the middle and Pat O'Brien as the unscrupulous club manager.
