Totally weird and disturbing. I just don't understand how people would willingly join such a group. The leader is so creepy, almost like a Bond villain. But it's hard not to almost admire him, at least a little bit

All a leader has to do is get some good people around him who will do good and make good things and bring in other good people who many will stay because of the good that can be done and the relationships they have built. They will stay even when the leader is abusive because it hard to admit when abuse happens when there is also good. This "leader" is a horrible person, we get a glimpse into what brought people in and some of the warning signs that it was toxic before learning the full horror.

Great footage, great interviews, great ending.

Where do I even begin? I put this documentary on as background noise and 2 hours later I found myself in the same spot, enthralled. This is a gem. A captivating diamond in the rough.

Damn. At least now I know to stay away from creepy looking alien-like weirdos with dead eyes. :D
