Plays like a Lifetime movie set in the kind of America that exists only in the heads of Tea Partiers, where the godless bureaucrats (here represented by the film's token black character) set out to enforce the Constitution on all good white folk. Like most faith-based films, it exists only to make a quick buck from the wallets of committed believers, with no attempt to appeal or convert a wider audience. Anyone not in the Christian right is going to mock or be appalled at this mess.

In an interview, Last Ounce of Courage screenwriter and co-director Darrel Campbell summed up what he hoped to accomplish with this film by saying, "I believe in this country, I believe in the people, I believe in freedom, I believe in my church, my religion, my faith. This country is based on faith, family and freedom, and that's what the movie is about. ... It is very rare for faith-based film to be about our country and our people. This is really a movie about all of us." I BELIEVE!!

How well you like this one depends on whether or not it matters to you that this is the first film to ever earn the "Chuck Norris Seal of Approval."

"Wow. That is quite a film. And I don't mean that in the positive sense." http://illusionpodcast.blogspot.com/2014/04/episode-10.html

The constitution is being taken apart piece by piece because the War On Christmas that doesn't allow Christmas Trees or religious ceremonies in schools, that is renaming Christmas to Winter Holiday Season and banning 64oz buckets of egg-nog in New York also applies to your private home too and soon the grinch patrol will jackboot their way down your chimney and punt your tree angel into a non-yule log fire and take a shit with care in the stockings that were hung so carefully there.

This comes "Chuck Norris Approved", which should give you the idea. Horrendous victimization/persecution fantasy, in which a literal war on Christmas is waged--mostly in this film by a cigar-smoking lawyer (Fred Williamson) and those he intimidates. One of the most pandering films I've ever seen, with the military, Christianity, the American flag, "patriotic" music and motorcycles among the hamfistedly used symbols in this insufferable polemic; just to cap it off, God is seemingly a character.
