The Allnighter

Benign coming-of-age/college film has a pretty dire lack of drama (or even compelling plot points) but is fairly easy to take, and is not quite as slimy as the typical 80s teen sex comedy, even if the lead character's goal is to engage in some casual sex before she graduates! Cast doesn't get any great opportunities to shine, but all deliver pleasant performances; would have liked to have seen more Cusack! Grier steals the film in a cameo as a police officer.

Susanna Hoffs is incredibly cute. But her mom makes terrible fucking movies.

Narratively lacking but captures well the 1980s and the spirit of youthful dissolution.
