bizarre editing and directing make for a weird disjointed plot. he fight scenes also have their own share of editing issues but there's one near the end which nearly fully realises their fighting choreography aesthetics. if only the whole movie been like it

This is the type of superhero origin story I'd expect from someone who really wanted to make a Ryu from Street Fighter II story. The action fits for the type of movie it is as does the acting. The story itself and how everything is put together including the music really makes you feel like you are watching an epic comic book or video game movie. I have to be honest I enjoyed the hell out of this. The film started okay and just kept getting better and better as it went on. [Full review]
