The Hard Way

There were no jaw-dropping action sequences, but in editing and story it was a cut above other action B-movies, so in the end it all averages out. Decent fights, nothing appalling—just a mediocre, low-grade film.

A somewhat satisfying warrior revenge plot, but full of flaws and numerous plot holes. Charismatic characters save this train wreck of bad writing. The supposedly twisty ending was telegraphed so far in advance that it became tedious waiting for it. The gunplay was a mixed bag of good and bad. It had a few nice moments, but it really wasn't very good. I particularly disliked the assinine ending. Overall, worth watching if your expectations are low.
