The Shock

Lon Chaney was great the rest of the movie not so much at least until the ending which was quite impressive.

Chaney plays a sympathetic cripple who becomes ensnared in a devious plot. As expected, he gets the job done, but the direction is bog standard, and the plot is completely predictable until the surprise ending. Some of the acting is also quite questionable.
