The White Storm

This was a very well done Crime/Drama, as many others have noted it's a throwback to the '80s heroic bloodshed films. The thing that this film does really well was to blend the style of the '80s and the modern, the CGI isn't overused and the characters while heroic aren't without their share of flaws. The acting by the main three is exceptional and most of the supporting cast are good as well.

I enjoy benny chan and i enjoy hk cop flicks so this was a no brainer. Chan made a total throwback heroic bloodshed movie with all the staples of the genre...and i love it. You've got undercover cops, betrayal, guilt, redemption, over the top brotherhood, and of course tons of bullets and blood. The finale is choreographed great with awesome acrobatics.
