You'll love this if you enjoy the subject matter, but otherwise you'll be bored. I like knowing more about celebrities that click with me, provided their lives are interesting, and that's the case here. I don't think drag fans will get much out of this, actually, as it's not about drag: it's about Trixie Mattel. Apparently, there's more to her than the casual fans see, which is rarely the case in entertainment. This docu made me appreciate her as an artist. I'll be listening to her music now.

It's pretty hard to recommend this to anyone who isn't already a big fan of drag race (like myself), but as niche as this documentary is, it did illuminate some of lesser-known, uglier sides of the industry that I didn't know about. Trixie's had a pretty tough life, and it's nice to see her handling it now with such grace.
