Suraj Sharma is impossibly charming and handsome and deserves more prominent roles, but that’s its main card dealt. Beyond his ingratiating performance, this is a rote and predictable drama with snatches of comedy and ineffective sentiment. Quite well-shot, though.

Umrika bedeutet auf Hindi Amerika. Amerika muss das gelobte Land sein in dem indischen Dorf in dem Ramakant lebt. Sein älterer Bruder Udai ging nach Amerika als er noch ein Kind war. Über die Jahre versorgte Udai sein Dorf mit Briefen aus der neuen Heimat, die sich wie ein schöner Traum lesen. Kurz: Ramakant macht sich auf, seinen Bruder zu suchen... mehr auf cinegeek.de
