V/H/S/85

Way, way, way too hit or miss. Many of the segments were very drawn out, only to hit you with a payoff that is never worth it.

It's not perfect, but it's solid with some good stories and atmosphere.

I really didn't like any of these shorts.

Loved every segment, especially the double feature with the shootings. The vibe, the grain, the editing, the colors, it all resonated perfectly. Very fun times. Surprisingly gory! I was a bit sad that I only recognized James Ransone during the end credits, otherwise I would have enjoyed it even more.

way better than most of the V/H/S/ movies. Overall, this installment feels like it had a little more thought and care put into the complete package than many of the prior entries had. Probably the new best of the series. The stand out tape is Scott Derrickson's Dreamkill, which is better than his features

Hope they can make this every year. Shudder, you're awesome but VHS 1 and 2 are still the best tho.
