Re: Doug Reese's 250 Favorite Films!
Ouch, go easy on the kid. It's quite an impressive list for someone his age. But what will be left to watch when you're older Doug?
Some quirky choices I like:
Running on Empty (Sidney Lumet, 1988)
Clean, Shaven (Lodge Kerrigan, 1995)
Birth (Jonathan Glazer, 2004)
Twentynine Palms (Bruno Dumont, 2004)
Little Children (Todd Field, 2006)
This is going to sound really patronising (sorry!) but I predict that you won't like these in 20 years:
Bound (Andy and Larry Wachowski, 1996)
American Beauty (Sam Mendes, 1999)
Requiem for a Dream (Darren Aronofsky, 2000)

You don't rank films, yet you have a list of your 250 favorites (lol).
