any possible protection from plagerism?
so i was looking through the top star listed pages, and came across gravymaximus' review for "crash" which happens to be exactly the same as another person's review for said movie (can't remember the user's name though) it made me think, is there any protection from plagerism that this site has to offer. im not exactly sure what is possible here, but copying someone's reveiw and passing off as their own is not acceptable.

I've seen that too, but at least he copied one of the funniest reviews of that film.

Worse would be if some jerks started copying reviews and summaries from Criticker, and post them on other sites.

Plagiarism is something we've always been concerned about, not just from users copping from other users, or third-party sites copping from our users, but also from plagiarized and uncredited info popping up on our site. It's something we try to be vigilant about in terms of film summaries, but it's impossible to get rid of entirely.
If you have a particular case of plagiarism that you'd like taken care of, just email our support address and we'll take a look. The Crash one we've seen and decided to leave -- somehow it actually improves the joke for there to be multiple BLACK WHITE ASIAN reviews. For the record, the original was Anderton's.
