Criticker App v0.2.1 - Collections & Quick-Actions
We've just launched a new update for the Criticker App on Android, bringing us to version 0.2.1. This update introduces a couple of great features and fixes a bunch of bugs.

New Features
Collections
One of the most popular pieces of Criticker has found its way to the App: introducing Collections! We've done a full rollout of Collection functionality, allowing you to browse, save, and sort your own collections, and those of other users. You can create new ones, and add any number of films to yours, or to the collaborative collections of other users.
You can easily see what collections a title belongs to with a new Collections tab at the bottom of every film page. And because your Watchlist is itself a collection, you can now sort it as well! This is an update people have been asking for since we rolled out the very first version of the App.
Long press for a Quick-Actions menu
A mobile-only feature is the introduction of a "Quick Actions" menu when you long press on any title's poster. This will load up a menu of some popular options, including the ability to rate (or edit rating), add to watchlist, add to another collection, or go to the Title Information screen.

Fixes and Changes
Modal placement and size - A lot of the modals that appear on the App were placed in a weird, or not ideal position. When possible, we've fixed this by moving them either into the center of the screen, or providing more space for them. We've also fixed some problems where interacting with a modal caused it to close prematurely.
Search moved to header bar - Search is one of the most important tools on Criticker, and we wanted to make it available from just about every page on the App, so we've moved it up to the header bar. This also gave us more room for the Collections button.
Profile screen not scrollable - On some shorter devices, it was difficult to log out, because the profile screen wasn't scrollable... and the "Log Out" button appeared so low on the screen that it was cut off.
Some images don't load - On many titles with older, smaller images, the App wasn't loading them at all. That's been changed so just about every title that shows up on the App should also have an image.

What's Next?
The Criticker App is nearing the end of Open Testing for Android devices. Feedback from our testers has been largely positive, and we're just about to enter full production.
We will then shift our attention to Apple devices. We anticipate this to be a much quicker rollout, as we've been developing both versions jointly.
For now, if you have an Android device and want to see the newest updates, head over to the Play Store and join the testing team!
