Profile Viewing Preferences and Bug Fixes for 14 Sep 2026
We're happy to announce a new round of bug fixes and an enhancement for Criticker! Please take a look through the list below :) Thanks to everyone who's helped us by submitting errors... and if we haven't gotten to one of yours yet, please be assured that we will!

Remember Profile Viewing Preferences
On any user’s profile page, you can see a list of their featured reviews, their most recent ratings, the most popular mini-reviews, their least-favorite films, and more. And now Criticker will remember your preference! So, if you like loading up particular users to check out what films they’ve rated recently, you’ll no longer need to click on “Recent Reviews” on each page. Whatever the last thing you clicked was will persist across users.
And this also goes for your own profile!
Bug Fixes
Ordering by number of ratings - Ever since updating the views for collections, we had lost the ability to sort collections by the number of ratings. That’s been added again!
Shade rated titles on collections - Collection pages were meant to have different shadings for titles that you had already rated, but that hadn’t been working since we updated the views for collections. The problem was due to a single character typo – the functionality was already in place, we had just made a silly mistake which prevented the legend and alternate-shaded rows from appearing.
Too many submissions loading - We were improperly loading all the submissions that someone’s made when looking at their profile page. This was a mistake, and it was meant to only load the first 10, with an option to load more. It’s been fixed.
Unneccessary scroll bar under tabs - At a particular width, a useless scrollbar was appearing underneath the section headings on the TIP page. That’s been fixed up!
Date format for recent kumpel activity - It was pointed out that the Kumpel Activity section on your profile had overly verbose date-times that didn’t match the dates shown in other sections. This has been fixed!
Busted mobile poster view for ratings - On mobile devices, the list of ratings was difficult to view when looking at "Grid" or "Compact" view. This has been corrected!
Date Watched empty in download - For most download formats, the date a title was watched had been missing. That’s now been corrected.
